How do I stop my car windows from steaming up?

There are a few different ways to prevent your car windows from steaming up. One great way to prevent your windows by steaming up is to go out to your car on a cold morning and turn up all the vents towards the windows. When you turn up your vents you should set your thermostat to the hottest setting before turning on your car. As you turn on your car you could leave it running and let the hot air get to the vents by the heat, as the heat increases the temperatures on the windows it will also get the cabin of your car nice and warm. This type of start will keep your inside glass from steaming up to the point where it could be difficult to see outside. If you have the extra money you could also get a remote car starter to help you get your car warmed up on those difficult days that it is too cold to go outside. Another trick that also works on your bathroom mirrors during a steamy shower is to apply shaving cream to the windows or mirrors and then wipe the cream off with a towel, but not with water as it will cause the film left behind to be washed off. After you wipe of the shaving cream there will be an excellent film that will make it impossible for your windows or mirror to get steamed up the next time there is a dramatic temperature change.
